Not to be confused with White Castles and Coffee, the Breakfast of Champions.

And new prattling about USian politics on Doxos.

It was a craftily hatched plot. After the Paschal service, it generally takes about fifteen to twenty minutes for the multitudes to venerate the cross, receive their blessed egg and retire to the Church hall for the Paschal banquet, leaving plenty of time for a highly motivated duo to spring to the front of  the line, high tail it to the local white castle, a five minute drive away and order a crave case.

Alas, our intrepid duo did not consider that at half past three in the morning, the local White Castle would be overflowing with customers. With a line of cars in the drive through extending from one end of the parking lot to another and tens upon tens of customers lined up at the interior counter, the would-be plotters missed the blessing of the baskets. Oh, the trials I undergo for my wife.

Sunday, I cooked some Lebanese style meat balls. Lamb + cracked wheat + ground chickpeas + a secret blend of herbs and spices == teh yum. The grocer was running a special on ground bison. I almost bought that instead of the ground lamb just so I when folks asked, I could say that I had buffalo balls.

Sunday turned into Monday. I'm still a bit whacked out: elated and exhausted all at once.
