In other news, this coming week my company has our big company-wide bash where we (ostensibly) learn technical things from each other, but in reality just involves lots of meetings and then fun food and booze in the evening. Okay, well, we do learn things. But there is also food and booze. Freaky part is that there are like four break-out sessions for the technical people and I'm one of them (maybe that explains my recent crazy behavior).
"Fun" technical problem: how buggy/crappy can CF cards for wireless be? My zaurus sl-c3100 wireless has recently crapped out. The helpful gui connection dialog that pops up just says "unable to make connection" (in japanese of course). If I run the commands that it (theoretically) runs on the command line, I can't get it to get past various subcommands without error. Of course, I am beginning to wonder if the card is just broken because I didn't change any configuration (either on the wireless network itself or on the device). The card is by IO-Data. Guess I'll have to pickup another one sometime...
(On review, I realize that this diary is completely out of character for me. However, I plead stress, mild illness and corrupting influences (MNS and Q).)
